The health and wellbeing of people is of paramount importance to us at this difficult time. We are routinely monitoring the latest advice from governments and health organisations, in order to act in a timely and responsible way, and thereby minimise any impacts of COVID-19 on our staff, our clients, the wider community, and our business.
We have already successfully transitioned to a fully remote working model
As a business with environmental issues very much at its heart, flexible working is well aligned with our values and, prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, we had invested in technology to help limit travel, and support home working and more flexible working patterns. As a result, we have been able to adapt quickly to a fully remote working model without noticeable business interruption.
All client meetings are happening as usual – online
All our staff use Microsoft Teams to manage remote meetings and, in the current situation, this has allowed us to move our entire business meeting schedule online. The technology has now been thoroughly tested – we have even held entire company meetings this way – so if you want to arrange to meet with us, let us know, and we will be happy to set up a meeting with you.
Our project work is not impacted
As a consultancy, the stringent planning and managing of consultant utilisation rates is a vital part of running a successful business and we have extended this process further to allow us to act in what is a fast-moving situation. We are confident that these internal processes will allow us to accommodate any changes to staff working routines, or staff sickness, should the need arise.
We aim to offer business beyond the usual
The challenge we face is a global one and, we believe, best faced together. While this is not a situation anybody would wish for, it does also present some positive opportunities, particularly in an environmental context. If we can be of assistance to you in helping you adapt in any way at all, please do get in touch.
We are staying connected
Eunomia has always sought to provide a programme of social events for staff (and, sometimes, their families) and we recognise the importance of remaining connected while we are physically separated. As well as encouraging frequent ‘virtual’ socialising, we have weekly online company meetings, to share business updates and address the implications, for all of us, of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A ‘thank you’ from us all
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our clients, who continue to engage us in work of such relevance and importance for the future. We’re grateful for your ongoing trust in us and, in return, rest assured we all remain highly motivated and focussed on delivering you the highest quality service during this period.
Our humble thanks also go out to all those whose efforts are allowing us to remain in good health, and continue working, in such unprecedented times.
