Owen has experience in working with Eunomia for UK and European clients, including projects for Defra, the European Commission and the European Environment Agency (EEA).

About Owen

Owen joined Eunomia following the acquisition of Collingwood Environmental Planning in 2022. He brings considerable practical experience in the use of foresight and scientific evidence in environmental policy making and assessment, as well as an ability to analyse drivers, trends, emerging issues and risks.

With an MA in Environmental Economics, he is experienced in the evaluation of policies, programmes and projects, including impact evaluations, and producing expert socio-economic input to regulatory impact assessments of UK and EU legislation.

Owen is an experienced trainer, with highly developed facilitation and engagement skills acquired across a variety of social, cultural and project environments. He has experience leading all types of interviews, focus groups and workshops.

He is currently engaged in a Packaging Strategy assessment for Ferrero S.A, facilitating the strategic management, research and horizon scanning with key stakeholders to identify drivers, options and priorities for a future packaging strategy to 2030.

In parallel, Owen is part of the Eunomia project team delivering the development of a framework to evaluate the strengthened Natural Environment and Rural Communities (NERC) Biodiversity Duty, which will also undertake a process evaluation of the strengthened duty.
