We are delighted to welcome Richard Waters, as our new Head of Strategy and the new Head of our London office. 

Richard brings over two decades of consultancy experience to the team with over ten focussed on developing strategies that align organisational goals with sustainable outcomes – spanning industries such as energy, telecoms, automotive, the public sector, and more. 

Richard supports organisations transition towards sustainable business models, co-creating ambitious targets and plans that take account of materiality, regulation, competitors and stakeholder requirements. He works collaboratively with clients, using a combination of systems thinking, an innovation mindset and data analysis capabilities. 

Richard’s notable career achievements include acting as the Lead Business Architect on the world’s largest commercial EV project, Head of Internet of Things transformation and Sustainable Business Innovation at BT, supporting the UK government’s smart meter implementation programme, and working at Carbon Trust, where he advised clients in the telecoms, automotive, retail, hospitality and leisure, and logistics sectors. 

As a qualified Chartered Engineer, Richard brings a problem-solving mindset to support clients navigate the complex challenges they face in an ever-evolving policy landscape, whilst seizing opportunities for progress.

As Head of the London office Richard oversees our presence in the UK’s capital. Our London office is part of a network of offices in Bristol, Brussels, New York and Auckland, enabling us to support global clients with local context.
