Senior Consultant Harriet Parke and our Managing Director Mike Brown will be attending IFAT 2018, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management.
Harriet will be a featured speaker at the conference, representing the RDF Industry Group – for which Eunomia acts as secretariat – while Mike will be available to liaise with representatives from across the environmental services sector.
In a session titled RDF Import from the UK, Harriet will present an overview of how the RDF market has developed so far, before going on to discuss future opportunities and potential barriers. She will also highlight key market trends, with a focus on waste volume forecasting and the impacts of EU and UK legislation – including the potential impacts of Brexit.
The RDF Industry Group, which comprises 30 private sector members spanning the RDF supply chain, provides a platform for the industry to explore the opportunities and issues surrounding the export of RDF from the UK and Republic of Ireland to mainland Europe.
IFAT 2018 will be held at the Messe München exhibition centre in Munich from May 14th to 18th, and Harriet and Mike will be there from the 15th to the 16th. Harriet’s session will be held in the Waste and Secondary Raw Materials Forum on Tuesday 15th at 17:30.
