Achieving B Corp™ status globally
Eunomia Research and Consulting received our certification as a B Corporation® (or B Corp™) in January 2024, joining a growing group of companies reinventing business by pursuing purpose as well as profit. Eunomia is one of the first sustainability consultancies to have achieved B Corp™ status globally.
Eunomia has been certified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp™ movement, as having met rigorous social and environmental standards which represent its commitment to goals outside of shareholder profit.
This certification demonstrates how Eunomia seeks ways to drive more rapid and impactful change to help deliver a more positive human impact on the Earth. It shows we apply the same care for society and the planet to all aspects of our business, as we do in our client work.
The B Corp™ certification addresses the entirety of a business’s operations and covers five key impact areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. The certification process is rigorous, with applicants required to reach a benchmark score of over 80 * out of 200 points while providing evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to energy supplies; waste and water use; worker compensation; diversity and corporate transparency. To complete the certification, the company must legally embed their commitment to purpose beyond profit in their company articles.
