Last week, Eunomians from across our offices in the UK, EU, US, and New Zealand gathered both online and in person to connect and learn from each other, celebrate successes, and look forward to the future.
The Live Learn Eunite 2025 programme focused on Eunomia’s core values –
- Integrity and respect
- Maximise our impact
- Be actively inclusive
- Walk the talk
- Have fun along the way
– and exploring what these mean to us in practice.
The week kicked off with a series of online, interactive workshops delving into how we activate those values, the ways that different communication and learning styles shape our interactions, and the skills needed for effective business partnering.
On the second day, staff were able to choose from over 50 live webinars that shared knowledge and supported learning across our areas of practice. Webinars were delivered by consultants in our natural economy, low-carbon economy, and circular economy teams, along with colleagues working in communications, IT, and business operations. The sessions explored topics as diverse as carbon pricing, horizon scanning for policy making, modelling, UK and US circular economy policy, and systems thinking to tackle planetary challenges. Other webinars shared good practice in data visualisation, client conversations, effective networking, and much more.
On the third day, Eunomians gathered in our different offices to connect and collaborate in person through a series of interactive sessions. Working in small teams, staff put their heads together to address how we can maximise our impact and walk the talk, coming up with blue-sky thinking and innovative ways forward to inspire the leadership team.
Live Learn Eunite culminated with a gathering in sunny Bristol at the SS Great Britain, the iconic steamship designed by engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel and launched in 1843. As the first iron steamer to cross the Atlantic, this was a fitting venue for an event that connected staff from our New York, Brussels, London, Manchester, and Bristol offices along with people who usually work remotely in different parts of the UK and Europe.
After exploring the ship and enjoying a vegetarian lunch, 115 colleagues spent the afternoon networking, celebrating Eunomia’s achievements, and learning more about the strategic vision for how the company will continue to drive positive change for both planet and people.
Finally, to honour our core value ‘to have fun along the way’ and connect with each other in a less formal setting, over 70 staff regrouped in the Forest of Dean for the annual weekend away.
