Eunomia was commissioned by the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) to undertake an economic assessment of the South Plans Marine plan areas. The report is one of a number of studies related to the MMO’s marine planning work, which can be found on the organisation’s website.
This assessment provides a baseline for economic activity currently taking place in the plan areas, and also forecasts the likely economic contributions of the activities expected to take place within the plan areas in the future. The research included within this assessment is presented in the absence of marine plans and serves as the baseline against which future impacts associated with the marine plans can be measured.
