This presentation was delivered at the Fire Prevention and Control in the Waste and Recycling Industry conference in the QEII centre, London on Wednesday 9th November by Specialist Technical Advisor Emma How and Junior Consultant Sophie Crosswell.
Eunomia recently completed fire prevention plans for councils after the Environment Agency issued stricter regulations for site operators through its Fire Prevention Plan guidance. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, Emma and Sophie have completed successful plans carrying out assessments, drafting the plans and leading the submission process.
In this presentation Emma and Sophie shared insights into navigating the permitting process, highlighting common challenges waste sites face as well as the different techniques that can be applied to achieve compliance.
