Our 2024 impact report shares the initiatives we put in place internally to be better to the planet and captures some of the incredible work we do with clients, such as WWF, Uber Eats, and the Environment Agency, to help them achieve their sustainability goals.
In December 2023, we achieved B Corp status, making us one of the first sustainability consultancies to do so at the time. In 2024 we continued to push boundaries and demonstrate that people and the planet matter to us, not just profit. This report marks the culmination of this commitment,
We delivered a range of impactful work, with five of our projects influencing INC5 discussions for the UN Global Plastics Treaty. Our projects also supported packaging supply chains to shift closer to circularity, decision makers to engage further with the natural economy, and a broad spectrum of clients to understand and reduce their carbon emissions.
Highlights of the report include examples of work across our three service areas – circular economy, low carbon economy, and natural economy – as well as how we’ve improved our own environmental, social, and community impact.
During 2024, we’ve improved our carbon reporting in line with best practice, with a particular focus on collecting data from our supply chain. Comparing 2024 to 2023, our Bristol head office:
- Reduced water use by 16.5%
- Recycled 86% of waste, an increase of 2%
- Generated 7% less waste overall
Our team’s passion, talent, and dedication are equally vital to our success. To name one achievement, that’s why we achieved Disability Confident Employer Level 1 Status and trained a team of seven Mental Health First Aiders to support diversity and wellbeing across the business.
Meanwhile, we continued to offer two volunteering days of work time annually, supporting several charities by donating staff time to help at food banks, community gardens, and nature recovery projects via their allotted volunteering days.
In terms of governance, we introduced seven new committees, each with organisational objectives for 2025 that will raise the bar in digital technology, technical knowledge transfer, employee engagement, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and more.
Our Chairperson, Joe Papineschi, said: “The achievements highlighted in this report are a clear reflection of how deeply our core values are embedded in everything we do at Eunomia. We are facing a triple planetary crisis – climate breakdown, biodiversity loss, and widespread pollution and waste. In the face of these seismic challenges, our team remains stalwart and committed to the future of our planet and society. That’s why, every day, we focus on driving change internally and helping clients to leave the world in a better place for the next generation.”
